Pistol Permits

Please allow 24 hours for us to complete a background check.  Call 256-241-8021 to check the status of your application.  You may renew a permit within one year of expiration without filling out a new application. Simply bring your old permit to the office for renewal.

Also, please be aware that there are websites on the internet that will advertise that they are selling concealed carry permit applications or clearances. These websites are NOT associated with the Sheriff’s Office nor, are they offering anything you need to obtain a permit from us. Please use caution.
