Jail Chaplain
The Calhoun County Jail Chaplain program provides pastoral care, manages religious programs, and administers resources at the Calhoun County Jail through regular visits to housing units, visitation rooms, and work sites (as permitted by the Jail Administrator). The Chaplain oversees a schedule of religious activities that provide equitable and reasonable opportunities for worship, study, and religious programs.
The Jail Chaplain serves inmates of all faiths and the correctional staff officers. He is also available for personal counseling and crisis intervention guidance (as appropriate). If you are interested in more information about this ministry, contact at 256-237-5171.
