Elections

The Sheriff, Probate Judge and Circuit Clerk are the Canvassing Board for all elections except municipal elections.  They are responsible for appointing the elections officials such as the Inspectors and Clerks that staff the polls during each election.  They travel throughout the County on election day visiting each polling location to ensure that voting laws are upheld.
