Administration

The Administrative division of the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for recording, storing, distributing and processing of all information and records of the Sheriff’s Office. All executive functions such as planning, budgeting and purchasing are the responsibility of this division. The Administrative division also conducts background checks and issues pistol permits under the direction of the Sheriff. Administrative staff are responsible for receiving, recording and distributing civil papers and arrest warrants.  Staff also communicate with Judges offices and the Circuit Clerks office to ensure prompt handling of the business of the courts.
